Finding Life Purpose

Good Morning Ed,

I need help finding where I belong and my life’s purpose.

Not a day goes by in which, I don’t hear whispers from co-workers, people in my neighborhood and friends, wondering why I work where I work, why I live in the neighborhood I live in, why I am amongst people “ who are not of my class”.

Yesterday, the gentleman whose been courting me for a year now, opened up to me regarding his feelings about dating me. His major hang-up with me is that he feels “class wise” inferior to me and subsequently emasculated.

The gentleman, feels like “I am the ideal traditional feminine woman, destined for greatness, and soon enough, I will return to my own class and leave him.” It’s taken him an entire year to share that with me. After our dinner had concluded and we parted ways, I found myself a poorly lite street corner and just cried. I don't want to continue to go through life alone.

As I type this email, the upper section of my throat muscles tighten up and tears well in my eyes. I’ve been on my own, practically since the day I was born.

I’ve bounced around from country, states, families, friends and homes. I now need nurture, care, encouragement, consistency and stability. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I have my own inferiority complex and I seem to attract men who mirror my subconscious fears and self-deprivation.

I keep saying, I want to find my life partner, start and take care of my family, and successfully own and operate hospitability business(es) with my partner. How do I get there?

I wonder if people fail to commit to me because my parents failed to commit and take responsibility for me? If so, how do I break the cycle?

Some News

Dear Ed,

I am a trader who started the career for about 2.5 years, and my career is to traded on the currency market . So, I'd like to hearing from you that if I do a Day-Trading, is it news important to trade with ?

Because I am still confused how the news move the market. Sometimes there are the news released with the good actual number, but the price goes down or sometimes it goes up. Therefore, I do not know really how the news move the market, and how long does the news effect to the market and which news I do need to focus on, which there are many news released in a day.

So, could you suggest me that in my case what do I need to focus on ? Because I am learning how to analyze the news and understand how the news move the market which might be wasting time to focus on I do not know really.

But, nowadays I used computer signals to trade but some traders told me that using fundamental is better than technical, And some traders told me that understanding how the market works is wasted time. So, what is the really thing to focus on ?

I see in a recent article, they embrace failure and adversity, as a way of short circuiting the fear of failure and driving themselves to attack constantly. Vox Day says the same thing. Fail fast, and embrace it, so you can move on to success.

Intelligence, Experience and Success

Hi, Ed.

Do you agree with John Locke and David Hume theory?

What experience is intelligence? So the trader to become a smarter player, you have to get as much experience? Or a lot of experience will not be enough if there is no higher IQ?

There is a new theory that intelligence depends on the amount of human memory. There is an excellent book "On Intelligence" Jeff Hawking. This book proves the scientific theory of Locke and Hume.

In general, what in your understanding of a great mind? And whether success in trading depends on your mind?

For example, I had a phenomenal memory. But tests on the IQ I have not very high. But a very good memory helped me to quickly learn trading, because I have seen more pattern by visual memory. Maybe I have a good memory because I retrained southpaw.

Helvetius believed that all men are equal in intelligence and that initially the difference in intelligence is due to the difference in the value of experience.

I want to know how you evaluate the human intellect and the dependence of success in trading of intelligence.

Traders bring many resources to trading, including their intelligence, experience, memory as well as their intention.

When you have clear intention, you tend to entrain and align all your other resources.
