TT Format
Dear Ed,
I plan to start a project based on the TTT (Trading Tribe Technology)
in my current country. My idea is to gather people who want to work on
themselves and to teach them and apply the Trading Tribe format and
processes.
I plan to promote it using Facebook. It is a non-commercial endeavour.
I wonder if you prefer me to mention your name in the description (for
example “it bases on the ideas, observations and inspirational work of
Ed Seykota, a trader, scientist and teacher”) or if you prefer me not
to mention you.
A hug!

Thank you for sharing your process.
You may use my name as a source of ideas.
You may, of course, run your application of the principles in any way
you wish - as long as you do not use my name to imply any kind of
recommendation or endorsement of you or your work.

Austin Tribe Application
Ed,
I apply to the Sat. Aug. 6th Tribe Meeting in Bastrop and I will attend your Birthday Bash the next day, Sunday Aug. 7th.
My life is running well, thanks in part to my work with the Austin
Tribe. I am following my successful trading model. I am happily
engrossed in further developing my rapid backtesting system. I
establish better rapport with my wife by simply looking her in the eye
and listening to her. I continue to do Breathwork and my most recent
"breathing" finishes with a deep sense of relaxation and calm.
I have no issue to work on at Tribe. I bring willingness to fully
participate in Tribe and to assist my fellow Tribe members with
anything they bring.
If I attend both days, may I stay overnight at the ranch? I'm happy to sleep on the floor.
|
Thank you for sending me your application to the Bastrop Tribe Meeting.
No pass.

Feelings and System Design
Dear Ed,
Thank you very much for your answer and your patience. Yes, I tend to
focus a lot on improving the system, and you remind me of the mental
issues behind such a pursuit. I will take your advice and work on my
feelings instead :)

Thank you for sharing your process.

Wants a Workshop
Hi again Ed!
I didn't get a response to my last email or see it posted on to the
Trading Tribe, so I'm resending you this email to try and make sure
that you've received it, and to flag my interest in participating in a
workshop in November. Hopefully in Puerto Rico.
Best regards,
|
Thank you for sharing your interest.

Everyone Gets What He Wants
Hi Mr. Seykota,
... I
am a big fan of yours and loved your insightful chapter in Market
Wizards. Specifically, I loved how you explored trading psychology and
how you explain that deep down, every trader gets what they
(subconsciously) "want" out of the market.
As I start my
trading career at [Firm], I will continue to keep lessons I've learned
from reading your material. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the
trading community!
Sincerely,
|
Thank you for sharing your process. |
